Superior Chilled Liquid CPU Cooling with Freezone Elite
CoolIT raises the cooling bar with the new Freezone Elite. The Freezone Elite comes pre-plumbed with CPU cooler designed with today's quadcore processors in mind, capable of a thermal dissipation of about 250w.
The CoolIT Freezone Elite cools your computer by directly cooling the CPU with chilled liquid coolant. In addition to keeping the CPU cool, Freezone actually provides cooling for other vital components while improving system level acoustics. By removing heat from the source and transferring it outside of the chassis, internal PC temperatures are kept low. This removes the need for multiple case fans, which eliminates unwanted noise and improves the reliability of other peripheral hardware such as the hard drive.
Freezone Elite features 6 TEC units to cool the liquid coolant, reducing CPU temperatures better than traditional air cooling as well as standard CPU only liquid (non TEC) cooling solutions. Reduce noise levels from your CPU fan by cooling with the Freezone Elite while improving cooling performance, all with no risk of condensation or moisture build up.
The Freezone Elite CPU Cooler includes: a Chiller / Pump Module, the MTEC™ Control Center, and a CPU Fluid Heat Exchanger (FHE). This universal sealed closed-loop maintenance free system is pre-plumbed and charged for simple bolt-in installation.

Regular price: $249.99 Sale price: $239.99 Get the most out of your computer with the Freezone CPU Cooler from CoolIT. Liquid cooling is simply much better than air when it comes to dissipating heat. So say goodbye to your old air-cooling fan. Why should you choose the Freezone CPU Cooler? Unlike water-cooling products, the Freezone does not use a radiator. Instead, it uses a proprietary ‘Chiller’ which incorporates multiple TECs (also called peltiers) to chill the liquid coolant. This increases thermal capacity and provides for faster heat absorption at the source. The Freezone CPU Cooler is the only liquid chilling solution that provides unsurpassed performance and uncompromising reliability. It is quiet, compact, easy to install, and affordable. A simple power connector allows the system to plug into the PC’s internal power supply. Features & Benefits
How it works The small proprietary brushless MAG drive DC pump operates off the computer’s existing power supply to circulate coolant through the system via vapor-resistant tubing. The environmentally friendly coolant acts as an effective cooling agent, increasing longevity and promoting circulation. The coolant circulates from the Chiller / Pump Module, to the FHE, and back to the Chiller / Pump Module. The FHE absorbs heat from the CPU, which is dissipated to the coolant. The Chiller removes the heat from the coolant by natural conduction, which is accelerated by 6 TECs and exhausted outside the computer. The TCM is used to regulate temperature. The default settings will automatically adjust the cooling output of the system to conform to ambient temperature and CPU load. The Language of CoolIT Chiller Module – the Chiller Module includes a dual thermal plate heatsink, 6-TECS, two laminar flow FHEs, and a low speed fan. The Chiller keeps the coolant chilled and transfers heat outside the PC. NOTE: CoolIT also manufactures a product called the CoolIT Chiller - a USB device for chilling beverages. Chiller / Pump Module – the Chiller along with the compact reservoir and pump are integrated into a single mountable unit. FHE (Fluid Heat Exchanger) – the FHE is a multi-channel block which transfers heat to the coolant. The CPU FHE acts as a low resistance medium to transfer heat from the CPU to the coolant. Heatsink – a heatsink is a metal body including at least one thermal plate and a plurality of fins which conducts and transfers heat away from another body. CoolIT Systems dual thermal plate laminar flow design is used to remove heat from the TEC’s. Laminar Flow - the motion of fluid or air when it is a smooth, even, regular or nonturbulant flow. Peltier – see TEC. TCM (Thermal Control Module) - the TCM uses an IC (integrated circuit) sensor to accurately detect and control the coolant temperature, by regulating the amount of power that is applied to the TECs and exhaust fan. The TCM will automatically adjust the cooling output of the system to conform to ambient temperature and CPU load. If desired, the TCM can be manually adjusted to suit individual user preferences. TEC (Thermoelectric Cooler) – a charged ceramic substrate (also called a peltier) that pumps heat from one side to another. Thermal Resistance - Thermal resistance is the ability of materials to transfer heat. It is calculated as the temperature difference between the heat source (i.e. CPU) and ambient divided by power consumed at source (i.e. CPU). This measure is generally denoted in °C/W. The lower the thermal resistance, the better the system is able to transfer heat. Questions and Answers: How much heat can your systems dissipate? What temperatures can I expect to see? The Freezone CPU Cooler has excessive thermal headroom to effectively and efficiently dissipate heat from any CPU. As a baseline, most die cooling solutions dissipate heat at a rate of 0.25 C/W. At 100W, this will put the die at 25 degrees above the ambient temperature. Since the Freezone CPU Cooler has measured thermal resistance of only 0.10 C/W, the die temperature would be only ten degrees above ambient temperature under the same load. Can I boost the performance of a CoolIT system? Yes. The Thermal Control Module can be adjusted to further reduce component temperature, or further reduce noise. Since CoolIT systems are sealed and contain no user serviceable parts, you should not attempt to add, remove or modify components from a CoolIT system. If I run my CoolIT system for long periods of time, will component temperatures constantly rise? No. CoolIT systems do not use large capacity reservoirs as temporary heat dumps. Rather, the coolant temperature is constantly regulated by the Thermal Control Module as the system is loaded. Multiple TECs combined with an efficient heatsink design ensure that the coolant remains chilled and component temperatures consistently cool under all conditions. What processors does CoolIT support? Do your systems support dual processors? The Freezone CPU Cooler supports one AMD socket 754, socket 939, socket 940, or Intel socket L775 CPU. The Freezone CPU Cooler supports multi-core CPU's. Which motherboards does CoolIT support? The Freezone CPU Cooler supports all ATX motherboards, most BTX motherboards, and most xTX motherboards, which are compatible with one AMD socket 754, socket 939, socket 940, or Intel socket L775 CPU. Do CoolIT systems require power supplies with greater than normal capacities? No. While the TECs do use power under heavy load, the system reduces power consumption at the die level due to lower operating temperatures. Are CoolIT systems Energy Star compliant? Yes. The system TECs are not activated and the system fan is not powered-up unless the system is under heavy load. What coolers and components come with your systems? The Freezone CPU Cooler is equipped with a 6-TEC (Peltiers) Chiller / Reservoir Unit, a Thermal Controller, and one CPU FHE (Fluid Heat Exchanger). What are the noise levels of your systems? The Freezone CPU Cooler usually run at average 26dBA. Under extreme conditions maximum noise level is 37dBA which is still significantly lower than most other cooling products. Also, installing the Chiller in place of an existing case fan will further reduce system level noise of your computer. Can I add a CoolIT system to any existing case? The Freezone CPU Cooler can be fitted into any ATX chassis having a 92mm or 120mm rear fan exhaust. An ATX chassis having 80mm rear fan exhaust(s) requires minor modifications. Do CoolIT systems have any problems with condensation? No. The coolant temperature of a CoolIT system is closely regulated by the Thermal Control Module and will not allow condensation to occur at factory settings. What type of maintenance does a CoolIT system require? The single Chiller fan should be dusted occasionally in order to provide optimal air flow. All other components are designed for long-term use and completely maintenance-free. How does a CoolIT system avoid biological growth? The coolant is a mixture of low-tox PPG (polyproplene glycol) and distilled water. Biologicals cannot propagate in this environmentally friendly, recyclable solution. To prevent coolant from escaping and contaminates from entering the system, it is constructed with vapor resistant materials and fitted with gas resistant plumbing. Wouldn't an oil or alcohol mixture be better than the PPG/water coolant? No. CoolIT systems are pre-charged with a cooling solution that provides optimal efficiency and reliability, and which contains no harmful chemicals. Would a CoolIT system work better with additional, or larger pumps? No. CoolIT systems reservoirs are fitted with patented pump technology that has an operating lifespan exceeding 50,000 hours MTBF. The CoolIT pump provides flow rates that far exceed the requirements of any CoolIT system. I am interested in overclocking my system. How high can I get my chip? CoolIT systems can greatly enhance overclockability by reducing die (chip) temperatures. However, the type of die and even the batch number that a die comes from can also play a big factor in the maximum stable cadence (clock speed) at which a die can operate. Can I replace a CoolIT cooling fan with any other type/brand? No. CoolIT fans are built to exacting specifications and aftermarket fans may fail when used with CoolIT systems. If I modify a CoolIT system, will it void the warranty? Yes. CoolIT systems contain no user serviceable components. Why should I use a CoolIT system and not build my own water cooling system? The CoolIT system is not a water-cooling system. Unlike water-cooling products, CoolIT does not use a radiator. Rather we use a proprietary ‘Chiller’ which incorporates multiple TECs or peltiers to chill the liquid coolant. CoolIT systems provide far greater thermal efficiency, increased reliability, run quieter and are easier to install than the raw components of comparably sized water-cooling kits. Warranty: 1 Year Warranty THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE RESULTING FROM ACCIDENT, MISUSE OR ABUSE, LACK OF REASONABLE CARE, SHIPPING DAMAGE, MODIFICATIONS, THE AFFIXING OF ANY ATTACHMENT NOT PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT, OR OPERATING COMPONENTS AT SPEEDS OR FUNCTIONS OTHER THAN THOSE SPECIFIED BY THEIR MANUFACTURERS. |
Regular price: $179.99 CoolIT Eliminator Thermoelectric CPU Cooler The CoolIT Eliminator is recommended for CPUs with a total heat output of up to 125W. The CoolIT Eliminator is targeted for overclocking nearly any dual core CPU while the CoolIT Freezone is more than capable of cooling the new quad core kentsfield from Intel. Eliminator has 3 TECs with a total maximum power draw of 40W. The Thermal Control Module (TCM) on the CoolIT Eliminator has 3 settings - low, medium and high. "Low" is intended for very low power CPU's in a multimedia setting where there is a desire for very low noise output. "Medium" will be more than adequate cooling for day to day activities as well as gaming for stock processor speeds. "High" is maximum cooling power for the overclocking enthusiasts. Patented FHE Design Promotes Heat Transfer The CoolIT Eliminator CPU Cooler is equipped with a CPU FHE (Fluid Heat Exchanger, or cold plate) that is monolithic (a solid piece of) copper. This FHE is designed to absorb high thermal flux from an area with high thermal density (i.e., it is very effective at removing a lot of heat from a very small surface). Integrated Design The CoolIT Eliminator CPU Cooler patented chiller module has an integrated reservoir, which consists of a high flow DC pump and expansion chamber. Combining the Chiller and the Pump into a single module is a space-saving design that allows for ease of installation. Regulated Temperature Control Because of the extreme cooling capacity the Coolit Eliminator product provides, there is a TCM (Thermal Control Module) built into the system to protect against over-cooling and condensation. The TCM regulates the amount of power that is applied to the TECs and exhaust fan. The TCM will automatically vary system level output to adjust for changes in both ambient temperature and CPU load. This complies with Energy Star standards. Adjustable User Settings The factory TCM setting will automatically adjust the system to run silently during low load operations and boost cooling power under heavy loads and/or adverse environmental conditions. Since the TCM regulates the TECs as cooling boosters, it is far more effective than simple fan speed regulation. If the user desires, the TCM can be manually adjusted to suit the preferences of an individual user. For example, if the user intends to enhance the performance of a CPU, the TCM can be adjusted to reduce the coolant temperature and thus reduce the operating temperature of a CPU; if the user requires continuous silent operation, the TCM can be safely adjusted to reduce power output to the TECs and exhaust fan. Maintenance-Free Operation The Eliminator CPU Cooler requires less maintenance than air or water-cooling systems. The liquid system itself is factory-sealed and a closed loop constructed with vapor resistant materials and fitted with gas resistant plumbing. This way, the Eliminator CPU Cooler never requires refilling, for the entire life of the system. The chiller module itself has a heatsink that promotes laminar air-flow through the fins. Laminar flow ensures that dust, dirt and particulates simply pass through the fin array, while promoting maximum thermal transfer. The only maintenance the Eliminator CPU Cooler system requires is the occasional dusting of the exhaust fan. This can be accomplished in a few seconds using compressed air, or gas. Environmentally Friendly Coolant The coolant in the liquid loop is composed of Low-Tox PPG (polypropylene glycol) and distilled water. This mixture is environmentally friendly, promotes enhanced cooling and reliability, and it is recyclable. Unlike water cooling systems, the Eliminator CPU Cooler only contains about 125 CCs (half a cup) of coolant. The coolant temperature is tightly regulated by the TCM in real time. That means the Eliminator CPU Cooler does not require a large reserve of coolant to act as a temporary heat dump for low duration operations at high loading. In fact, the Eliminator CPU Cooler's duty cycle is designed for 100% operation under continuous maximum loading.
